About Oak View Baptist Church
Our History
Our church began with only a Sunday School in January 1947 by a group of dedicated Christians who saw a great need in the Taylor's Hill Community. In 1951 the name Oak View was officially adopted by the church. There were 48 charter members at that time. Since then, we have maintained the mission of reaching others for Christ, and serving our members and our city.
Our Mission
At Oak View Baptist Church, we are committed to serving our community and sharing the love of Christ. We are a conservative, traditional Bible believing, Christ-centered church. (John 3:16, John 14:6)
Our Ministries
We offer a variety of ministries and programs for all ages, including youth groups, Bible studies, and outreach programs. Our ministries are designed to help our members grow in their faith and serve others in our community.
